Artistic Director Tatiana Stepanova is the heart and soul of Stepanova Ballet Academy, leading students to ballet excellence with her passion and expertise. A distinguished alumna of the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Mme. Stepanova returned to Odessa to become the Prima Ballerina for the Odessa State Ballet Company. Her remarkable career includes performing principal roles across a broad classical, contemporary, and modern repertoire worldwide.
For her exceptional contributions to the performing arts, Mme. Stepanova was honored with the title of People's Artist of Ukraine, recognizing her outstanding achievements and influence in Ukrainian ballet. Under her leadership, Stepanova Ballet Academy continues to inspire and nurture the next generation of dancers, fostering a deep appreciation for the art of ballet.

Tatiana Markovska
Senior Instructor
Trained at the Kyiv State Ballet School and performed with the National Ballet of Ukraine. Tatyana's expertise and passion for teaching make her an invaluable part of our faculty, inspiring students to achieve their best.

Teagan Hadcock
Instructor, SBA Graduate
Teagan began her ballet journey at 12, performing Clara in The Nutcracker with Toronto International Ballet Theatre. Trained at SBA and Bolshoi Ballet Academy, she has taken on soloist and principal roles in Cinderella, Fairy Doll & Coppelia. Under Mme Stepanova's training, Teagan was a gold medalist recipient at YAGP.

Alessandra Lisi
Instructor & Dance Educator
Educated at Stepanova Ballet Academy and York University (dance education specialist). Graduated from Canada's National Ballet School, Teacher's Training Program. Attended top ballet programs across North America and performed in The Nutcracker alongside Bolshoi Ballet stars. Also coaches competitive gymnasts in technique and artistry.

Haruka Kyoguchi
Guest Instructor
Born in Japan, Haruka trained in Kobe before moving to Canada at 17. Trained at The Rock School for Dance Education and performed with Oklahoma City Ballet and Ballet Jorgen. Soloist and guest principal artist in Cinderella and The Nutcracker. Continues to perform in productions across Toronto.
